The apartment we stayed in was better than expected, with a spacious and bright interior and an amazing terrace. It was also well equipped and had plenty of room. The location of the apartment is key, being situated on the main street and within walking distance to everything in the town. the owner was very accommodating and made our anniversary trip extra memorable.
There is hardly anything to dislike about the apartment or the location. However, we would have appreciated more frequent room cleaning and towel changes during our 5-night stay.

Coffee facilities were a nice surprise and owners Dave & Sarah went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location was unbeatable with plenty of shops and restaurants right outside.
Noisy surroundings made sleeping almost impossible, as party-goers didn't seem to sleep until 3am and traders started restocking at 7am. Those staying on the street-facing side may want to consider packing earplugs.

The decoration was very nice and sweet, giving the place a cozy atmosphere. The bathroom was spacious and the high-speed wifi was a bonus. The hotel's location was excellent, as it was within a short distance to the train station and marina. I also appreciated the abundance of restaurants nearby and the convenience of having a supermarket close by. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing me with information about transportation to other villages and trail closures. The room itself was comfortable, with basic amenities and even air conditioning. I particularly liked that it had a pull-out couch and a balcony. Lastly, the breakfast was satisfying, allowing me to start the day off right.
All was fine, nothing to complain about.

The location of the property was excellent, just a stone's throw away from the train station. We didn't have to struggle with our heavy luggage on the steep slope of the town. The room itself was cozy and clean, with modern facilities. We were also pleasantly surprised by the welcoming and informative greeting from the staff upon our arrival. One standout feature was the large window in our room that offered a fantastic view of the bustling street. Despite the minor repair issues we encountered, our overall stay at Sottocoperta was enjoyable.

The rooms were beautifully designed and the price was incredible for the area. The owner was extremely helpful and went above and beyond, assisting with carrying our bags and helping with parking. Additionally, the location was very central and convenient for exploring the town.
There were a lot of stairs to climb, which is common in this charming little town. It could get noisy at night, so I would recommend bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper.
